Mirror — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Axel Oliveras (operating as Mirror) ("Mirror", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the Mirror website, web application, and related services (the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. If your local law sets a higher minimum digital-consent age, you must meet that age.

3. What Mirror is

Mirror is a style-diagnosis service: you answer a questionnaire, and the Service gives you a style "type" and recommendations relating to makeup, outfits, hair, colour, and scent.

These recommendations are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are subjective, generated from your answers, and are not professional, medical, dermatological, or financial advice. You are responsible for your own choices. Results may vary and are not guaranteed to suit everyone.

4. Your account

• To use the Service and view your style diagnosis results, you must create an account using your email or Sign in with Google.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
• The information you provide (such as email and date of birth) must be accurate.

5. Purchases

• Some report sections are paid. A purchase is a one-time payment that unlocks the full report for the specific style type you bought — there is no subscription and nothing to cancel.
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your complete payment card details, CVV, or full banking information.
• Prices are shown before purchase and may change over time; changes do not affect purchases you have already made.
• Once a report is unlocked, it remains available to your account.
• Refunds: All purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-cancelable. Because digital content and reports are delivered immediately upon purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you waive any right to a refund or cooling-off period once the transaction is completed, except where explicitly required by applicable law. 6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or non-public content, except where permitted by law;
• Access another user's account or data, or interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
• Copy, resell, or redistribute paid report content, or circumvent the paywall;
• Use automated means to access the Service in a way that burdens our systems.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, text, graphics, character artwork, quiz logic, and report content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Your content and data

You retain your rights in the information you provide (such as your quiz answers and results). You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process that information to operate the Service and provide your reports, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services, including authentication, hosting, payment processing, AI generation, and email delivery providers (such as Stripe, Supabase, Google, Anthropic, Brevo, and Cloudflare). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will meet your expectations. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Axel Oliveras (operating as Mirror) from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account), which removes your associated data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, unless mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
